Our non-profit mission is to create and maintain an inclusive arts education program, housing both a training facility, as well as a performance venue – Snellville’s own Main Street Theater – which allow performers the opportunity to engage in affordable and accessible training, outreach programs, classes, and performance opportunities right here in Snellville! Snellville Performing Arts encourages inclusion and teamwork through community events and supports students as they engage in creative collaboration to explore emotions, expand their imaginations, and develop their own unique voice.
Whether acting, singing, or dancing, each discipline within our performing arts programming engages the brain and body, allowing young performers to develop confidence, strengthen communication skills, learn professional technique, and gain valuable skills that can help them both on and off the stage. Arts integration has been proven to increase test scores, lower drop-out rates, aid in closing the achievement gap, and improve overall academic performance and Snellville Performing Arts continually works to fill this need for the students and families in our community.
