The Snellville Centennial Celebration, August 18-19th, 2023
Get ready Snellville to celebrate the city’s Centennial on August 18 & 19. This will be a fun weekend filled with activities for the entire family.
Friday – August 18th, the fun starts at 4:00 pm on the Towne Green with Food Trucks, fun and games with DJ Lee. There will be a few inflatables next to city hall that will be free to the public to play on. We will be giving away 100 Eskimo Pie type ice cream bars ( you will need to pick up your ticket at the information tent and redeem your ticket at the Frozen Sweets truck, first come first serve basis)
Decade Buttons – pick up and wear a decade button to represent the decade you were born in for a chance to win prizes.
Some antique cars will be displayed on Oak Rd that will represent years in the past.
Snellville Performing Arts will be presenting a Ghost Tour at 8:30 pm that will begin at the Snellville Historic Cemetery…. who’s ready for some spooky historic fun!
Saturday- August 19th the fun continues at the Snellville Farmers’ Market from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. Come dressed from a former decade and check in at the information tent for a chance to win some prizes.
Evening fun starts at 6:00 pm with Centennial Celebration Concert featuring Atlanta Seventeen playing music from across the decades, so don’t forget your dancin shoes as this band will keep you on your feet. VIP Tables are available.

At 8:00 pm, the GIANT CENTENNIAL CAKE will be presented as we have a birthday SING-A-LONG. Cake will be served to all attendees.
The Ghost Tour will begin at 9:15 pm on Saturday evening at the Snellville Historic Cemetery.
• Parking is available behind City Hall, across the street at the Church on Main and Snellville United Methodist Parking lots and the Public Parking Deck next to the Tomlin Apartments.
